For more than 45 years BoysTown have been helping Australia’s youth in need. BoysTown offer a range of programs and services including Kids Helpline, employment programs and refuge facilities. As a not-for-profit organisation, BoysTown is primarily funded by donations and its famous house and car lotteries.
A thorough brand research and re-branding project provided for a solid basis for Lemonade to begin the task of re-designing the BoysTown Corporate and Lotteries websites.
For the corporate site, the team at BoysTown had done a fantastic job of analysing the needs of the stakeholders to provide a strong position for Lemonade to refine the architecture and devise a flexible interface design solution. The result is a website that is rich in accessible content that is easy to read and digest for all who visit BoysTown online.
The Lotteries website presented an exciting set of challenges for the team. The sheer number of permutations of lottery offers alone was mind-boggling. However, a strong sense of clarity was achieved through ongoing discussions and workshops with the passionate and experienced BoysTown’s lotteries team. The result is a logical, sales driven architecture and design. It maximises recall from BoysTown’s printed brochures, creates a ‘wow-factor’ around the prize, cross-sells and up-sells, and provides clear calls to action to allow users to easily make their purchase online. We can’t wait to see online ticket sales soar to support the BoysTown cause!
