Leading chef and food personality Guy Grossi is renowned in Melbourne for creating inspiring Italian cuisine. His two restaurant’s Grossi Florentino and Mirka exude passion, heritage, style and soul. With the desire to emulate his presence in the food world, in the world of web, Grossi approached Lemonade to craft an inspiring website along with content management system.
The site was structured to position the Grossi brand at the forefront, with a dedicated area of the site for each restaurant, Grossi Florentinos and Mirka. The architecture of the site was well considered and delivered consistent page layouts and navigation techniques to allow users to ease themselves through a large amount of content, information and imagery.
The interface was designed to reflect the brand; contemporary, passionate, and stylish. A powerful opening animation scene was crafted to introduce the Grossi heritage and to create a visual impact when users arrive at the site. Radiant photography was placed throughout the site to show cases the cuisine, restaurant and Grossi lifestyle. It was important to Guy Grossi to deliver an engaging experience to the user and to convey the essence of the two restaurants. Site features include virtual tours of each dining area across both restaurants and there is an entertaining video of the day in the life of Guy Grossi.
