Ripe maternity are a Melbourne based maternity fashion label that have stockists all around the world. Offering contemporary and innovative maternity wear for a variety of occasions, Ripe required a new website to show case both summer and winter collections. The interface design was sleek, elegant and positioned the brand as a stylish, accessible maternity wear label. The collection area in the site was promoted through inviting hero photography on the home page and prominent links to the season catalogue. The site architecture and navigation were kept simple and flat to promote a clean, minimalist home page.

The collection area uses a simple but effective flash mechanism to display product imagery, offering two seasons of maternity wear at once to Ripe's global markets. The collection is supported by a simple and easy to use content management system which will allows Ripe to manage their own seasonal imagery. Other site features include a ‘send to a friend’ feature and an on-line sign-up to become a Ripe member.

It was important to Ripe to create a supportive, social feel to the brand. Therefore, the ‘Ripe Juice’ section of the website was devised to offer maternity advice, fit and style tips and other useful bits of information connected to pregnancy and maternity wear. This content managed area was created with growth in mind and moving forward Ripe will use this section to leverage other social networking opportunities and chances to connect with their clients on a more personal level.
