2005 Annual Report

In 2005 St.John’s was about ‘sustainability’ and ‘care’. Our approach reinforced this on two levels. Firstly by dividing each division into sections, supported with visually engaging hand-drawn typography and elements to highlight key messages and communicate each divisions ability to contribute to making St.John’s sustainable.
Secondly we developed playful visual imagery such as the vest on the front cover. By utilising the common care instructions label, we were able to communicate key message of ‘100% care’.
This was further supported by community-focussed images and loose handwritten/drawn elements which brought attention to key messages from each division and also added that all-important human element. A playful approach was given to each sections header to ensure that they were not only visually engaging but also memorable.
The tag line ‘providing continual support’ was developed specifically for this report and reinforces the long-term vision of St John.
The result is a report which is accessible to a wide audience which includes stakeholders, sponsors and the general community. It works to position St.John’s as professional, innovative, contemporary and community focused.
